Update

The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department hosted Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training in Q2. This training was requested by community members and run by public safety staff.

Next Steps

Future disaster preparedness programs will include building a disaster kit, so residents are prepared in the event of another disaster. This program will focus on marginalized communities as they often experience the worst of disasters.
