Update

The Town of Carrboro is developing an ADA Transition Plan to meet state and federal requirements. Staff continue to evaluate public facilities for accessibility barriers and map the data in an ArcGIS database. The Town Manager's Office is also leading an interdepartmental Title VI and ADA Workgroup to identify gaps and improve coordination across Town-led nondiscrimination efforts.

  • Winter 2026: Complete parks and facilities self-evaluation, develop plan for completing pedestrian infrastructure self-evaluation, launch public engagement plan
