The City has developed a 2026 Advocacy Plan as part of implementing the 2024-2026 Intergovernmental Relations Strategy, led by the Intergovernmental Relations Unit. The Intergovernmental Advocacy Issues Plan 2026 outlines top priority issues, advocacy tactics and communications, as well as identifies potential funding sources from other levels of government. The plan supports deepening relationships at all levels of government and agencies to advance mutual priorities and partnerships as well as monitoring relevant legislation and policy for the City.
