Description

Working with key community interest holders, influencers, and enablers is a priority for developing the innovation ecosystem in Maple Ridge. This key result brings together interest holders to collaborate and support innovation initiatives, foster collaboration, and gather insights to guide the development of the City’s Innovation Ecosystem Action Plan. The development of innovation ecosystems is strongly dependent on connections and collaborations between members of that ecosystem and their respective networks.

A focus group is being organized for October 2025 with local residents in Maple Ridge who have technical expertise, entrepreneurial backgrounds in scalable startups, or have supported initiatives that bring together individuals with various innovation and scalable entrepreneurship backgrounds. The purpose of the session is to identify the City’s current strengths and explore opportunities to enhance Maple Ridge’s innovation ecosystem.
