Supporting residents who experience multiple challenges is a priority for the City. This pilot works across departments to coordinate the delivery of supports that are available to residents experiencing vulnerabilities.
A dedicated Social Wellbeing Action Team was formed by the newly appointed Manager of Community Safety and Wellbeing. The team includes representation from Bylaw & Community Safety, Community Planning, Recreation, and Intergovernmental Affairs.
The Social Wellbeing Pilot represents a proactive approach to fostering community safety, social inclusion, and data-driven decision-making. The integration of diverse interest holders and structured planning methodologies supports the success and sustainability of this initiative.
