City of Maple Ridge Corporate Plan

Description

The arts, culture, events, and heritage services assessment is intended to provide a complete picture of current services within the municipality, that includes gaps and opportunities in programming, facility spaces, current and future agreements, and service delivery models. The review will include services provided by the city and local community groups and organizations, in addition to a best practice review of culture in other municipalities. This data is anticipated to result in a refresh of the inaugural 2018 Maple Ridge Cultural Plan.

KR External Update

A Service Review and Needs Assessment has been completed that provides the City with recommendations for future focus areas and or improvements in the provision of programs services as it relates to arts, culture, events and heritage. 

Research and data gathering, comparative analysis and interest holder engagement has been completed.  The consultant team is drafting the final report for the project team's review aiming to present the completed analysis to Council in late fall.
