Implement a net promotor score for Adventure Hub, Urban Hot Spots, and Farm Fresh experiences , set the baseline, and improve by 20%
City of Maple Ridge Corporate Plan

Description

Net Promoter Score is a well-established metric for measuring the impact of services and the perception of services particularly in the area of customer satisfaction. It measures the degree to which people are so happy with their experience that they would recommend it to others. This key result focuses on one element of our tourism sector - eco-tourism and agricultural-tourism - to determine our current baseline of data and monitor this in the future to show positive increases in our net promoter score.

KR External Update

The goal of the Net Promoter Score was to track how customer experiences are perceived over time for the agri-tourism and eco-tourism sector. A baseline survey was done and data gathered that highlighted the experiences that are well-received and those requiring some improvement.  Now that the baseline survey is complete, the City will conduct future surveys biannually starting in 2027.  Making improvements to agri-tourism and eco-tourism is also supported by the other initiative linked to this key result - completing a regulatory review of relevant policies.  This work is ongoing and is on track to be completed by July of 2026.
