The Ridge Meadows RCMP de-integration project is progressing as planned, with Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows set to establish autonomous police detachments by Spring 2026. A steering committee has been formed to oversee the project, ensuring key tasks and timelines are met. Additionally, a working group has been established to manage the separation of all police files. Work continues to advance on schedule, and further updates will be provided as the project evolves.
