Project Objectives |
Expand, renovate and equip this multi-functional facility to include lighted synthetic football/soccer field, running track, tennis court, basketball court, playground with water features to include splash pad, meeting rooms, concession and senior center.
Progress Update | |
- Roofing contractor started working on the main roof installing insulations, concrete boards 4x8x ½ inch panels and covering with Firestone ISO 95+ GL Insulations.
- Crew installing 4x6x10 pressure treated lumber under the roof curb as reinforcement and covering with insulations.
- The framing contractor continued working inside the building, laying out and wall framing
- Crew completed the installation of the soffits and drip edge around the building and continued the framing of the outer ceiling around the building.
- FPL has removed the pole, transformer and cables from the south side of the building
- The painting contractor completed applying the undercoating and paint sealer on the underside of the roofing structure and panels on the east and north side of the building.
- The electrical and plumbing contractors continued working inside the building, installing conduits and pvc roof drain pipes.
- The welding and fabrication contractor have completed roofing steel framework
- The general contractor has received deliveries of framing materials, roofing materials
- Crew pick up trash and waste materials from around the building, backfilled with lime rock and rough grade
- The general contractor Kauffman Lynn superintendent and project manager have been working with FPL to have the pole and transformer removed from the south side of the building.
