Project Objectives

Replace the existing, outdated 41-year old fire station that services Palm Aire and Collier City with a new fire station to reduce response time and enhance fire and emergency services to the area which will include a new 2-story, multi-bay building.
Progress Update

  • No significant updates this month as this is a phase 2 Bond project. It remains ahead of schedule with construction start date planned for October 2021
  • Plans are progressing in the design/permitting phase 
  • The team has visited the site this summer to discuss the details and scope of the project
  • A new fuel depot was added to the project. 
  • A change order for fuel depot emergency storage facility at north side was approved 8-Dec 2020 City Commission, 2nd reading.
