Project Objectives |
This project includes renovation of the existing park facility to include upgraded and new lighted synthetic rectangular fields (soccer, football and baseball), expanded parking areas, concessions, and new passive recreational areas, such as picnic lawn, new landscaping, access control, and pedestrian paths.
Progress Update | |
- Grading and offset strakes have been laid out ahead of final layer of subgrade applications
- Sub-base soil along Southwest entrance and West side of South field have been graded, leveled and compacted
- Keith inspected sub-base along Southwest entrance, which passed inspection
- West authorized to move ahead with subgrade RCA application along West side of South field area
- Southwest entrance has been blocked off with caution tape and MOT barricades
- Water truck is saturating subgrade to mitigate dust
- Assembling formwork for pad along West side of North field
- Soil inside of forms has been compacted and leveled
- Nailers for field turf have been installed on interior of field curb around entire North field pad
