Project Objectives

Upgrades to this facility built in 1991 will include replacement of a grass field with synthetic field turf, a new scoreboard, additional bleachers and shade structures over the bleacher area.
Progress Update

  • The City has partnered with the Orange Bowl Committee for this project
  • Formwork assembly completed for all five exercise equipment pad header curbs
  • Formwork passed inspection for header curbs around exercise equipment pads along exterior of field area
  • LandTek crews rolling out field turf throughout North side of field pad
  • Field pad is properly compacted, leveled, and is at correct elevation and contractor was given the approval by engineer to resume field turf application
  • Staging field turf rolls throughout field pad ahead of continued applications
