Project Objectives

To construct the first senior activity center in the City of Pompano Beach in response to the increasing demands of senior activity programs in the northwest sector of city. To promote and inspire activities that encourage involvement from the community in a supported environment.
Progress Update

  • The subcontractor JG Shell crew started tying steel mats for the footing of the building
  • Plans and permits were approved for the footing
  • Contractor should be starting footing work for the building in the coming weeks
  • Tree protection barriers are up and maintained
  • Cameras in place
  • Gravel pads at both entrances north and south are being maintained
