The need for regular community surveys to understand community sentiments about the Police Department and what type of information and measures would  lead to more community trust.  These surveys can help build trust by giving residents a voice in helping identify areas where the department’s performance can improve Police Department strategies for public engagement.  Areas of focus can be trust and neighborhood-focused concerns.
