The City of Goldsboro strives to ensure our vehicle and equipment fleet is readily available for staff to provide needed services. The City invests annually in the training and development of quality mechanics to maintain the fleet. The City's capital investments over the past few years include, but are not limited to, the purchase of an automated Leaf Collection Truck ($280K), Wittke Front Loader Solid Waste Truck ($380K), Jet Rodder Truck ($400K), Excavator ($70K), two backhoes ($300K) and multiple F-150, 250 & 350 pickup trucks for Public Works, as well as multiple new police cruisers.
