Analysis

There were 515 newly created/retained primary jobs in 2020.  This is consistent with the number of created/retained primary jobs in 2019 (560). 2018 had such a large number of new jobs because of the opening of the Amazon Fulfillment Center. Staff views the number of created/retained primary jobs for 2020 as a strong number. 
City Impact On Performance

Low - While the total number of newly created / retained primary jobs is more reflective of the economy as a whole, the City can target certain decision makers and increase its chances of landing primary employers.
