Why is this important? |
As part of our Total Rewards Strategy, we strive to be an employer of choice with respect to the benefit options we provide to employees and the effectively manage benefits spend from the employee’s perspective and the County’s perspective.
How are we making an impact? |
We provide competitive benefits at affordable prices and provide employees with options to best meet their individual and family needs. In 2018, we revamped our life insurance program and implemented a new benefits enrollment platform to streamline the enrollment process for our employees and Human Resources staff. We make benefits information readily accessible through a comprehensive benefits website that employees and their families can access. We continue to participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement Plan and offer a robust wellness program through SimplyWell.
We believe in the importance of commitment to community by partnering with local employers, including, but not limited to, Medical Mutual of Ohio, The Metro Health System, and Moore Counseling and Meditation Services.
We plan to continue to provide competitive, affordable benefit options to our employees and to maximize the efficiencies of the new ERP System. We will continue to review benefit offerings to ensure alignment with out Total Rewards Strategy.
