About this measure |
This measure demonstrates the Office of Innovation and Performance’s (I&P) efforts to foster a culture of innovation by showing the number of employees who have participated in innovation programs and activities.
Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Office of Innovation and Performance on a quarterly basis.
Why is this important? |
Engaging employees through training, process improvement projects, performance management, and strategic plan implementation creates an environment where ideas, innovation, and creativity can flourish.
How are we making an impact? | |
Fostering a culture of innovation requires engaging employees in innovation efforts.
In Q1-22 the Cuyahoga County Innovation Academy continued to increase participation. There was a total of 17 people that attended the two yellow belts & one green belt course. Innovation & Performance expects those numbers to continue to increase now that the County is back in the office full time.
Innovation & Performance also hosted a number of other project sessions to engage participants in innovation efforts. These projects included development of a performance management dashboard expected to go-live in Q2-22; a table top exercise for the Central Booking project at the jail; and an Ideation Session with Case and Cleveland State professors to identify projects for an open National Science Foundation grant.
