In the coming year Organizational & Employee Development (OED) and Training will focus on:

1. Becoming trusted advisors by developing a deep knowledge of all the agencies under the Executive umbrella.
2. Supporting change efforts through supporting process improvement efforts.
3. Enhancing course offerings and refining established courses.
4. Curating a coaching program for the development of leaders.
5. Support of a performance management program and enabling a succession plan/career pathing program across the organization.
6. Partnering with HR and support efforts where possible.
7. Continuous assessment and determination of ways to enhance the employee experience.

Accomplished Goals for 2021

1. Finalized training, communication plan and materials for annual ethics deployment.
2. Health & Human Services MyLearning integration
3. Correction Officer training courses integrated with MyLearning
4. Performance Management training for new non-bargaining employees in Health & Human Services (HHS).
5. Leadership training provided for promoted Jail corporals and sergeants
6. Regionalized Training Program: coordination with the Center for Public Safety Management on a course for first responders on managing first responder stress and mental health. In attendance were representatives from nine municipalities and an independent contractor.
