Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Department of Communications on a quarterly basis.
Why is this important? |
Social media is one of the most important ways an organization can connect with its stakeholders. Through social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the County can directly tell the story of the good work being done at the County.
How are we making an impact? | |
The Communications Department continues to use social media as a primary method of communications to residents.
In Q1-22, Communications supported Human Resources with social media promotion of ongoing hiring events for Corrections Officers and positions with County Health and Human Services.
Communications also shared resources related to Black History Month, including a video highlighting County employees that are active members of the Divine Nine sororities and fraternities and sharing blog posts related to important leaders in the civil rights community across our County.
When NBA All-Star weekend came to Cleveland, Communications used social media to engage with sports and community partners by launching an All-Star Business Week, which highlighted local businesses in the County that tourists could consider visiting while in town. This social media campaign received buy-in from local media and business owners across the county.
