This measure page provides updates on major milestones and anticipated next steps associated with efforts to develop and implement the Cuyahoga County External Communication Plan. Metrics reported on this page include:
- The number of new subscribers to the County News Now newsletter,
- The average newsletter open rate (% of subscribers that open the newsletter),
- The average newsletter click throughs (% of subscribers that open the newsletter and click on a hyperlink that takes them to the County website),
- The number of unique page views for the County blog, and
- The number of total users for the County website.
Updates are provided by the Cuyahoga County Department of Communications on a quarterly basis.
Why is this important? |
Communication is key to building trust and creating an engaged and informed public. Through increased understanding of County programs and services residents can become more invested and likely to participate and provide feedback. This exchange between the County and the public plays an integral role in decision-making, making the County more responsive to community needs.
How are we making an impact? | |
The Communications Department continued to support both short and long-term projects during Q3-21. Communications assisted with the planning and promotion of the Central Neighborhood Surge Town Hall event in August. The event welcomed over 100 residents and provided valuable information on services and resources available to residents.
Communications is continuing to push out proactive content to residents and partners through the development of press releases, blogs, newsletters, updated web content, multimedia content, and positive media coverage.
The Communications Department continues to support the Cuyahoga County Citizens’ Advisory Council on Equity’s Communications Subcommittee through content development and implementation.
The top blog for Q3-21 included the Board of Health Mask Advisory.
Top web pages and searches in Q3-21 included the Correction Officer hiring page.
