Milestone Measure

During 2018 the following major milestones were accomplished to support regional approaches to public safety and law enforcement: A contract with Sundance Systems to build an interface for the Law Enforcement Data Warehouse has been approved by the Board of Control. Sundance is the records management system used by 12 police agencies in Cuyahoga County, and this agreement will result in incorporation of all 12 agencies’ law enforcement data into the system. In addition, as part of the county’s license plate reader program, 80 cameras have been installed at 20 fixed locations throughout Cuyahoga County, and on one mobile trailer. Cuyahoga County’s Knowledge Center resource database has been updated with information on assets available for deployment during an incident from 30 fire departments, 23 police departments, 12 public works departments, and 2 first responder specialty units.
