About this measure |
This measure provides updates on community engagement activities managed by the Cuyahoga County Department of Regional Collaboration.
Why is this important? |
The Department of Regional Collaboration was established to support cost savings and cooperation between municipalities and the County. This collaboration and cooperation must be created among communities to build relationships that promote understanding of challenges and distribution of information that supports closing gaps in services for all communities in the County. This requires community outreach, two-way communication and feedback to determine and reexamine data for budget and programmatic decisions.
Performance Target |
This page is a milestone measure, meaning updates take the form of qualitative, project-based narratives to provide additional details related to core County programs and services. Measure performance is impacted by a number of factors, including funding levels, strategic priorities, community need, and policy decisions made at the federal, state, and local level. Performance targets are not set for milestone measures, but timely reporting of updates is important.
How are we making an impact? | |
The Department of Regional Collaboration is working closely with Mayors and County departments to host weekly check-ins on ways to improve services to residents amidst the pandemic. These meetings will continued in Q4-20 and will continue as needed in 2021.
The Department of Regional Collaboration assisted the Office of Innovation and Performance with the collection of proposals and disbursement of CARES Act funding to provide support to municipalities during the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring all federal guidelines were met.
