Measures on this page include the number of children enrolled in kindergarten at public schools throughout Cuyahoga County and the percentage of those children who are ready for kindergarten. Kindergarten readiness is defined as children whose Kindergarten Readiness Assessment scores fall into the “Demonstrating Readiness” or “Approaching Readiness” categories. These categories reflect readiness on four dimensions: language and literacy, mathematics, social foundations, and physical well-being and motor development. 

Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Office of Innovation and Performance on an annual basis.

When children enter kindergarten ready to learn, they do better in the short term and over the long term. Being prepared to learn includes academic preparation—counting, letters, shapes, colors—as well as the social and emotional foundation for learning.

2. Select Disaggregated District Data, and
3. Select the report titled, "District Disaggregated Race/Ethnicity" for the school year selected
