This measure provides updates on major milestones and anticipated next steps associated with the Cuyahoga County Housing Plan.
Updates are provided by the Cuyahoga County Department of Development on a quarterly basis.
Why is this important? |
The Cuyahoga County Housing Plan (Plan) was developed in partnership with countywide stakeholders. The Plan consists of six primary objectives that need to be addressed to improve local housing conditions and values:
- Access to Capital
- Tax Collection and Delinquency
- Housing Insecurity
- Special Populations
- Fair Housing
- Confidence in the Housing Market
How are we making an impact? | |
In the final quarter of 2020, the Department of Development worked with the Cuyahoga Land Bank on agreements with CHN Housing Capital and Community Housing Solutions to provide home repair loans to residents of Cuyahoga County. In addition, an agreement was entered to provide small dollar mortgages (less than $70,000) to residents of Cuyahoga County for housing repair needs beyond the scope of the home repair program.
