About this measure

This measure provides the most current population estimates for Cuyahoga County. Cuyahoga County population data is reported by JobsEQ (2015-2017) and the United States Census Bureau’s population estimate (2018).  Population data reported for peer communities was also provided by the United States Census Bureau’s population estimate.
Why is this important?

Population is a key component of a number of Cuyahoga Performance reported community indicators and government measures. A growing population is a measure of a healthy community.
How are we making an impact?

This is a community indicator measure. It is provided to show an understanding of the overall community health. The County organization does not directly control the outcome of this measure.
