About this measure

This measure tracks the percentage of individuals in Cuyahoga County who are in the labor force and the percentage of individuals within the labor force that are currently without a job.

Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Office of Innovation and Performance on an annual basis.
Why is this important?

Tracking the number of individuals active in the Cuyahoga County labor force provides a broad indicator of the performance of the local economy.

In Q4-20 Cuyahoga County began reporting Cuyahoga County's Labor Force Participation Rate and Cuyahoga County Unemployment Rate. During this reporting period Cuyahoga County also began reporting Cuyahoga Performance data by race and ethnicity when available.  The Cuyahoga County Labor Force page has been updated to report the Cuyahoga County Labor Force Participation rate and Cuyahoga County Unemployment Rate by race and ethnicity.
