About this measure

This measures the total number of people in the County that either have a job or are actively looking for employment.  Comparative analysis data reported is from Bureau of Labor Statistics. Historical performance data reported for Cuyahoga County is from JobsEQ.

Why is this important?

Tracking the number of active individuals in the Cuyahoga County labor force provides us with a broad indicator of the  performance of the local economy.
