About this measure

This measure reports the market value of all goods and services produced in Cuyahoga County annually. Comparative analysis data reported for Cuyahoga County and peer communities reflects the gross domestic product (GDP) for each respective county.

Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Office of Innovation and Performance on an annual basis.
Why is this important?

Local area gross domestic product provides a general measure of the size of the economy for a region. It can be used to identify trends and as a comparable measurement.
