About this measure

This measure reports the market value of all goods and services produced in Cuyahoga County annually. Comparative analysis data reported for Cuyahoga County and peer communities reflect the gross domestic product (GDP) for the metropolitan statistical area (MSA) to which each county belongs. Cuyahoga County is part of the Cleveland-Elyria MSA.

Data are reported by the Cuyahoga County Office of Innovation and Performance on an annual basis.
Why is this important?

Gross regional product provides a general measure of the size of the economy for a region. It can be used to identify trends and as a comparable measurement.
