The City will also be sharing its model of strategic planning with GCCISD as they endeavor to complete a similar project to Imagine Baytown. Finally, the City continues to invest in recreational opportunities for kids in Baytown and continues to recruit new businesses to Baytown that cater to youth. | |

| The City continues to ramp up it's efforts to clean up the community. In addition to picking up litter multiple times per week on major City roadways, the City also picks up litter on state highways like 146 and 330 and along waterways like Goose Creek. In 2019, Harris County went through a period of re-organization which resulted in the reduction of volunteer hours dedicated toward litter abatement, however, the City made adjustments to offset the reduction in hours. | |
