The Design Engineer for the first phase of planted medians has been selected and the design is currently under way. This first phase will include landscaped, raised medians with LED street lighting on Garth Road from I-10 to Santavy.

The remainder of the planted medians from Santavy to Highway 146 are to be done when Garth Road is widened to 6 lanes (2021).
