Funding to support the hiring of a Neighborhood and Volunteer Coordinator was not provided in the 2017-18 budget, but the request will be submitted for consideration in the 2018-19 budget.  The physical accommodations for this position will be more possible after the renovation of the Brunson and the movement of the Tourism personnel from City Hall.  Meanwhile, a set of policies and procedures have been composed for the volunteer program.

The request for this position is part of the 2018-19 Implementation Plan and the proposed 2018-19 budget.  The intention is to place this position in a revamped public affairs office.
