Staff continue to promote the use of Bicentennial Park for outdoor activities during community events. 

In addition, staff has requested funding in the next budget year for completion of a comprehensive layout of Bicentennial Park, to include the design of a new amphitheater. The request for funding the renovations are planned for in the FY2021 budget, with construction following the 2020 Grito Fest and ready for the 2021 4th of July event.

Funding was not approved in the 2020 budget.  Staff will request in the FY 2021 budget.

Design, engineering is included in the 2022 CIP - $100,000

Design, engineering is included in the 2023 CIP - $300,000

Construction is included in the 2024 CIP - $4,000,000
