Economic development staff and the City Manager continue to make the pitch for grocery in this area at the International Council of Shopping Center conferences and will continue to do so in the coming calendar year.  Our team has already made contacts with Kroger, Aldi's, and HEB regarding possible small concept stores that would fit the character of the communities being served. 

The ICSC team did solicit interest in grocery location.  Follow up is being made with a variety of small grocers, and we are providing leakage data to them.  We will continue to follow up.
