City staff are currently working with Burdit Design to develop a redevelopment/improvement plan for the Market Street District.  The plan will include recommendations for  a capital improvement plan and an implementation guide.  Staff have conducted a walking audit of the corridor and held two community meetings to seek input in addition to the online survey.  Burdit Design is finalizing an existing conditions and needs assessment that will be presented to the Stakeholder Committee.  The completed study will be presented to Council on February 14, 2019. The current year budget carries an appropriation of $100,000 for first phase implementation.
