City staff addressed this need with Harris County Pct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia and it will be a topic of future discussions as part of the Mayor's Intergovernmental Committee, of which the County is a part.  The purpose of speaking with the Commissioner was to raise awareness of these situations.  This now makes it feasible to address the issue as part of the Intergovernmental Committee.
