This initiative in complex, particularly in the time of COVID.  Not currently administered through the City, some community organizations have expressed interest in volunteering to work on sub-standard properties to address issues such as high weeds and grass and junk on lawns, however, COVID makes it unfeasible to access properties of vulnerable populations.  The Community Engagement Coordinator, however, has joined the United Way's Volunteer Council and is working to create and promote volunteer opportunities through the United Way Community Portal.
