A proposed revision to the ordinance was presented to Council on March 28, 2019. Council did not pass the revised ordinance, but requested staff to continue working with the Animal Control Advisory Committee (ACAC) on additional changes. The additional updates will be presented to Council again in November 2019. Stiffer penalties are included as part of the revisions.
