United Way conducted community conversations in early 2020 and developed a new five-year strategic plan to ensure initiatives were focused on the key areas identified during the community conversations.  Homelessness did arise as a key issue during the conversations and is prominently addressed in the strategic plan.  United Way staff and volunteers will be partnering with key stakeholders, including the City, to begin conversations around the issue of homelessness and mental health, and look at potential solutions to this community challenge.
