Health / Neighborhood Protection (NP) is continuing the review of two 'new' initiatives, (1) clarification of and amending "wrecked" vehicle issues and enforcement, (2) "used tire" abandonment and shops concerning storage, transportation and disposal. 

The Planning and Development Department has added two new code enforcement officers and consolidated duties for existing staff to strengthen building code and bandit sign enforcement.  Additionally, staff has developed a streamlined process to identify, investigate, and pursue zoning code violations for residential areas.
