Staff has developed and presented to Council the concept and idea associated with the integration of the industrial development agreement with the development of the new Police/Fire facility.  This concept has been proposed to a local industrial partner and an agreement has been drafted that will not only bring the funds necessary to construct the facility, but also provide long-term sustainable revenue to the City. The agreement was finalized August and the facility design began in October 2019. Construction should begin in the late summer of 2020 and should last for about 18 months.
