Public Works and Engineering (PWE) has started a project to classify the condition of all drainage pipes and ditches according to a Drainage Condition Index (DCI), which classifies the siltation level of the pipes and ditches on a scale of 0 - 100. Maintenance efforts will be directed to pipes and ditches in the worst condition and in the most critical areas.
