Police personnel meet weekly to review crime statistics for the various areas of town and units are assigned accordingly. In addition, both Traffic and Hot Spot units are being stationed in visible areas along the major traffic corridors (Garth, N. Main, SH 146, Spur 330, Bayway, etc.). As a result, staff have seen a decrease in activity from this time last year.
