In the FY 2017-18 budget, the City set aside a portion of revenue at the beginning of the budget process to be used on capital projects and intends to continue this practice in subsequent years.

Over the last three years, the City has devoted nearly $80 million toward capital.  This year will see another significant contribution to one time capital.  Transportation alone will receive an additional $4 million from the General Fund.
