To determine the best estimate, data is pulled annually from major Baytown companies (City of Baytown, GCCISD, Lee College, Houston Methodist San Jacinto, ExxonMobil, Chevron Phillips and Covestro). The number of employees living in Baytown area zip codes (77520, 77521, and 77523) will be divided by the total number of employees to show roughly the percentage of people who work in Baytown that live in Baytown.
