Prior to the 2015 Christmas season, the Parks and Recreation Department purchased a 40 foot Christmas tree to cover the water fountain at Town Square in the middle of the new ice rink.  LED lighting was added at the base of the 12 oak trees that surround the fountain and Christmas tree providing the Parks and Recreation Department the ability to change the mood of the park with each season or event.  New Town Square Christmas banners were also hung on banner holders located along Texas Avenue.

Prior to the 2016 Christmas season, the Department purchased lighted wreaths with ribbons, and lighted garland for all the new decorative street lights on Texas Avenue that was directly across from the Town Square.

Prior to the 2017 Christmas season, 18 additional wreaths and garland were purchased and installed on the decorative street lights along the 300 block of Texas Avenue (in front of the Brunson theater).  Wreaths were also placed on the 2 street lights on the 100 and 400 block of Texas Avenue.  Wreaths and garland were also installed on the decorative street lights along Jones Street and Gaillard Street at Town Square.

Two large Christmas balls and Santa's Mail Box were also added to Town Square.

Additional wreaths will need to be purchased in order to fully wrap Town Square's decorative street lights and the intersections of Commerce and Texas Avenue and Pruitt and Texas Avenue.
