This is a component and strategy associated with the Market Street District Plan. The first two meetings for this plan have taken place and  a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for an urban designer/planner to assemble the master plan is ready for deployment. This plan should be completed by the end of summer 2018. The completed plan will make recommendations on specific property acquisitions in the area.

The City Manager has directed the Economic Development Foundation to begin probing possible acquisitions on Market Street.
