The City has now made it a standard requirement to include pedestrian ramps and crosswalk buttons with every new signal implementation.  The City will also install  9000 linear feet of sidewalk along Baker Road, Garth Road, and North Main Street as part of the bus route improvements by summer 2018. San Jacinto Boulevard, Hunt Road, and Santavy will also meet these design standards.  The City will budget some funds in 2019 to retrofit existing facilities and continue this as an annual program.
