Description
This measure highlights the total City investment in reducing litter throughout the community. It shows the "City resources spent to reduce litter," which is how much the City budgets for City employees to pick up litter. It also shows the "Value of volunteer hours spent to reduce litter," which is the number of volunteer hours the City uses to pick up litter multiplied by the average rate nationally for a volunteer.
Analysis

The City continues to ramp up it's efforts to clean up the community.  In addition to picking up litter multiple times per week on major City roadways, the City also picks up litter on state highways like 146 and 330 and along waterways like Goose Creek.
